1st Grade 

Eight (8) 4:00 minute quarters - continuous clock

• Please avoid substitutions during the quarter. 

One time out allowed in the last quarter only – 45 seconds

Clock will stop on all whistles during last minute of game

No steal off of dribble (steal passes only)

No blocked shots. Defensive players should remain vertical. 

Man/man defense only – no full court press – no double teams

All technical fouls = 2 shots + ball

No one/one free throws

Fouled in act of shooting  = 1 point + 1 free throw

Fouled on made shot = basket + 1 free throw 

2nd Grade

Four (4) 6:00 minute quarters - continuous clock

One time out allowed in the last quarter only – 45 seconds

Clock will stop on all whistles during last minute of game

No steal off of dribble (steal passes only)

No blocked shots. Defensive players should remain vertical. 

Man/man defense only – no full court press – no double teams

All technical fouls = 2 shots + ball

No one/one free throws

Fouled in act of shooting  = 1 point + 1 free throw

Fouled on made shot = basket + 1 free throw 

3rd Grade

One timeout per half – 45 seconds

Man/man defense only – proper help defense allowed (shell drill ) 

No steal off of dribble (steal pass only)

• Until the final minute of the last quarter. Then players can steal the dribble. 

All technical fouls = 2 shots + ball

Two technicals in one game (player or coach) = ejection 

One/one free throws after seven team fouls each half

Fouled in act of shooting = 1 point + 1 free throw

Fouled on made shot = basket + 1 free throw
